Based on Le Corbusier’s Dom-ino house I designed both the exterior and interior of my own Gabion house, before focusing on a product design for manufacture.

Using local Pennant sandstone from the site to fill the gabion baskets, my concept largely revolved around mesh, which I had observed on the allotments’ at the site. I chose light calming materials for the interior as the basement housed a recording studio for my client.  I also designed a bespoke roof canopy for the terrace.
